About me
Karl has a bachelor’s in biology from Western State College in Gunnison CO. He has worked in Public Health for 31 years. Karl was the first Certified Chef to work for a health department in Colorado, starting at Denver Health and Hospitals in 1994. Throughout the years he has worked in programs that covered retail food, swimming pools, assisted living, residential housing, group housing for children, rodent abatement, and body art. He has a strong interest in teaching and has collaborated over the years with the State, USDA, and FDA to provide training on industry standards and improving communication. He currently, and happily, works at Arapahoe County Public Health.
