About me
Rachel Scanlan is a Senior Project Lead on the Restaurant Food Safety team at Chick-fil-A. She specializes in food safety training and supports the 3rd party auditing program. Her first role at Chick-fil-A focused on regulatory compliance and risk assessment. Prior to joining Chick-fil-A, she was an auditor and trainer with EcoSure and an Environmental Health Specialist in Weld County. She has a Master’s degree in Food Science and Food Safety from Colorado State University. Rachel participates in multiple professional support organizations and advisory boards, including the National Environmental Health Association and Conference on Food Protection. She is passionate about food safety training and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. In her free time, you will find her reading, running, and embracing her new love of swimming.
