About me
Nettie Mojarro is an Environmental Health professional with nine years of experience in the field. She currently works with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) as part of their Retail Food Team. Nettie has been involved in providing Certified Food Protection Manager courses and exams, including options in both English and Spanish since 2019. A key professional goal for Nettie is to contribute to a positive shift in the food safety culture within retail food establishments across Colorado. She aims to achieve this by ensuring all operators have an equal opportunity to learn about food safety and obtain their necessary certifications. During her classes, Nettie strives to empower and encourage operators to prioritize food safety in their daily operations.
