About me
Emily Evans, MPH, is the Cumulative Impacts Manager with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Office of Environmental Justice, where she is currently leading the implementation of Colorado's first Environmental Equity and Cumulative Impacts Analysis (EECIA).
Emily's career spans academia and local and state government, with expertise in environmental health research, grant management, health education, and building cross-sector partnerships. Early in her career, she advanced community-led participatory air quality research through projects funded by the National Science Foundation.
Emily is a systems thinker committed to advancing equitable environmental health solutions through collaborative, community-informed approaches. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado Denver and a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health from the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
